   OUR MINISTRIES

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.” - Matthew 25:35-36

Hunger in Pottstown

Since 1982, Trinity has provided nutritious free meals to between 60 and 150 unhoused and low-income people. In recent years, the program has spread to other area congregations. Together, Pottstown churches provide lunches and dinners thoughout the week. On Tuesdays, Trinity is the host location for the community dinners.

Education in Pottstown

Multiple members of Trinity partner with Centro Cultural Latinos Unidos based out of our neighboring congregation, Zion's UCC to offer assistance with tutoring and other after school programming. Our congregation has a computer lab that was recently updated thanks to a donation from MC3 | curtis learning that allows the kids to access educational online content as well.

The Arts in Pottstown

We are thrilled to host the Arts Bubble, a group dedicated to creating opportunities for teens to share their gifts of music and theater.

Benevolences

Through dedicated funds and gifts of our members, Trinity supports nonprofit organizations in our community.  Trinity supports special causes through the offerings we received. These concerns include:

  • Special UCC Offerings: We are a "5 for 5 Congregation.” Being 5 for 5 means providing support to all of the wider (UCC) Church’s five annual special offerings: Our Church’s Wider Mission and the Special Mission Offerings: One Great Hour of Sharing, Strengthen The Church, Neighbors In Need and The Christmas Fund.
  • Mission First - We support the work of Mission First which supplies clothing, food, toiletries and so much more to the unhoused in our community
  • Pottstown Cluster of Religious Communities - Assists the unhoused with groceries and other services. They also assist in supplying local organizations with food donations to enable community meals.
