Homelessness in Pottstown
Trinity is one of the host sites for the rotating homeless shelter run through Beacon of Hope, providing a place for the unhoused to sleep as well as assisting by providing hot meals most evenings, with other community organizations also contributing to the meals.
Hunger in Pottstown
Since 1982, Trinity has provided nutritious free meals to between 60 and 100 unhoused and low-income people. In recent years, the program has spread to other area congregations. Together, Pottstown churches provide lunches and dinners thoughout the week. On Tuesdays, Trinity is the host location for the community dinners.
Education in Pottstown
Multiple members of Trinity partner with Centro Cultural Latinos Unidos based out of our neighboring congregation, Zion's UCC to offer assistance with tutoring and other after school programming. Our congregation has a computer lab that was recently updated thanks to a donation from MC3 | curtis learning that allows the kids to access educational online content as well.
The Arts in Pottstown
We are thrilled to host the Arts Bubble, a group dedicated to creating opportunities for teens to share their gifts of music and theater.
Mental Health & Addiction in Pottstown
We are a host location for Circle of Hope, a peer-to-peer led discussion group meeting at Trinity on Thursdays from 1:00PM-2:00PM. Please feel invited to attend and join in for lively conversation about how we are feeling, our successes, challenges, our recovery, and how we maintain our wellness.
On Mondays at 7:30, an Alcoholics Anonymous groups meets at our church.
Narcotics Anonymous meets at Trinity every Friday evening at 7:30pm.
Benevolences
Through dedicated funds and gifts of our members, Trinity supports nonprofit organizations in our community. Trinity supports special causes through the offerings we received. These concerns include:
